Searching for Products and Services – Have you been past page 1 on Google lately?
In my last Blog post I wrote about how our Operators (Exploration and Production) and EPC/EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management) clients are using Oilfield HUB to manage their preferred vendors and organize their preferred vendor lists. This makes life in the field and purchasing departments so much simpler when Operators are sourcing their services, supplies and rentals.
In this post, I am going to cover off how Operators are leveraging the Preferred Vendor Manager tools in Oilfield HUB to access, in real time, the treasure trove of information energy services companies are managing and making available to promote their products and services in the HUB.
But what does this mean for the energy services companies who are always looking for that next new customer, sourcing inquiry, bid request or authorized order? It’s a constant struggle to get found on the Internet and an even bigger concern to ensure your customers are totally familiar with, and have access to, all of your products and services when they want or really need to buy! Our Operator and EPC/EPCM customers no longer have to look beyond Oilfield HUB to source new product and service providers, to deal with their go-to vendors, and to find out everything that you do. They have abandoned random searches on Google for industry-specific HUB Search results.
