Oilfield Pulse CoverWhen we [Leadstone] created Oilfield HUB we were looking for a marketing strategy to stay in front of the key decision makers in the oil and gas industry on a monthly basis. We decided to take a bold step and launched an industry trade journal, and in June 2012, our Oilfield PULSE magazine was born. The buy line for the magazine ……… Voice of the Oilfield HUB Community. A home, and safe haven for our HUB clients to tell their stories, express their opinions, promote their companies and shape the future of the energy business.

Our vision was to take Oilfield PULSE in a different and bold new direction than other industry rags. Not only did we want to use the magazine to promote and market our own Leadstone brand, and our flagship service Oilfield HUB, we also wanted to introduce a few distinct and calculated twists from other, kind of traditional and tired, energy publications.

Recognizing the rise in the importance of content marketing and organic search results to improve your SEO results, we wanted to position our clients at the forefront of this trend as the evolution of inbound marketing tactics continues to unfold.

So to attract a bigger audience of all ages, we decided to include a unique mix of topical industry articles as well as exciting lifestyle stories.

PI - CatchThird twist, as great article and story content is being created and published, we were looking for a way for our clients to optimize and amplify their PULSE content online well beyond the traditional shelf life of a paper-based magazine.

PULSE Interactive Content Marketing Channel

Pulse-Interactive-SloganOur Oilfield PULSE magazine served as the catalyst to get all of this going, yet we still wanted to provide more value to our clients. After all, you only have so many pages in any magazine issue for relevant content on a monthly basis. With an ever growing number of companies participating in the HUB, we obviously wouldn’t have room for them all solely on the pages of the PULSE, so we needed another place for our clients to hang out online. Our PULSE Interactive Content Marketing Channel was born!

PULSE Interactive Dedicated Company Pages

Dedicated Company PageWe wanted to create a place for our clients to do some storytelling of their own. A place where they could post an unlimited number articles and relevant evergreen digital content about their company, their people, their events and functions as well as stories on the local groups and causes they passionately support. This place is PULSE Interactive on our Oilfield PULSE website. It opens the door to all of our HUB clients to post any type of content to their own dedicated company page on PULSE Interactive. Whether it is a single press release, some product case studies, new age infographics, presentations, company white pagers, or advertorials, they are all a welcome addition to your PULSE Interactive dedicated company page. Meaningful and relevant content to assist with your content marketing action, no matter how big or small.

We kick start all of our new companies in Oilfield HUB with an Open for Business on the HUB post. It’s a great way to drive more traffic to your website as well as your new HUB Microsite, and PULSE Interactive posts.
