HUB Byte – Supply Chain Manager – Sourcing Inquiries
Did you know you can initiate Sourcing Inquiries via the SCM module in Oilfield HUB?
Suppliers, whether qualified or unqualified vendors, are being contacted frequently to satisfy a multitude of service and product inquiries. These inquiries are often initiated by phone or email, as are the eventual responses, but neither are usually stored in a cross-functional manner for future reference by everyone involved in a particular project. Oilfield HUB enables Producers and EPCs to initiate Sourcing Inquires directly from inside the HUB, and to automatically store incoming responses in a similar fashion. Sourcing Inquiries can be actioned directly or can be flipped into Bid Requests and Orders for further clarification and resolution.
HUB Benefit
When it is vital to have a formal record covering communications with suppliers, Sourcing Inquires initiated via the HUB are the catalyst to makes this happen. Inquiries can be sent to one or more suppliers instantaneously, and all incoming replies are automatically captured in Oilfield HUB for your review and response. Digging for missing emails and lost conversation notes is a thing of the past as all Sourcing Inquiry correspondence is saved, sorted and searchable by pre-configured projects in the HUB.
